USLIMITS2 is a web based tool designed to help practitioners set reasonable, safe, and consistent speed limits for specific segments of roads. USLIMITS2 is applicable to all types of roads ranging from rural local roads and residential streets to urban freeways. However, the tool is not applicable to school zones or construction zones. This webinar will include an overview of USLIMITS2, including discussion of the decision rules behind the tool. It will also include presentations from the Connecticut Department of Transportation and the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri, discussing how they have used USLIMITS2 and the benefits recognized from using the tool.
