SPEAKERS: • Cate Satterfield, FHWA Office of Safety, will discuss why it is important for every agency to accept the call to action on this important safety issue. • Rick Tippett, Trinity County, California, will discuss how the systemic approach is the way to make cost-effective improvements to reduce the likelihood of future crashes. • Victor Lund, St. Louis County, Minnesota will discuss how they have used a local road safety plan to guide them in improvements that have reduced crashes on the county system.
